spend a whole day at Borders Bookstore

the thing is that books at borders ARE expensive.
but the idea is to go in, perhaps with a pen and a piece of paper,
find an interesting book, sit and read it until you have to leave, write down the name of the book and the page you left on, and then leave. come back later and read some more.
only buy a book if you really really want it in your home library.
and usually, don’t buy it from borders unless you really want or have to.
hell if you get bored, take a sharpie in the bathroom with you
(i’m kidding! though you should actually take a sharpie with you everywhere. xD)

I spent all day in a Borders once and it wasn’t anything special. I looked at all their high-priced stuff, even their sale items cost way too much. I was asked “Do you need help finding anything?” about 6 times.
