learn to cross-country ski

I’ve been wanting to do this for years. A decade almost. For a long time I wanted to find some person to come with me, now that I want to do this alone I have no money. But I will make it, one day.

I finally had the chance to try this. My boss brought in the equipment and we skied around at lunchtime. I stayed upright the whole time, even! I don’t mind having to work at it… it’s preferable to the lack of control I feel with downhill skiing.

The next time someone says, “let’s go on a ski vacation,” I’ll have an activity besides drinking hot chocolate that I can do!

It is fun to do on occasion and is more work than it looks like, but I prefer downhill.
