Spent an absolutely amazing four weeks there on a language course last Summer. Despite the fact that it was almost unbearably hot I still had a great time, learned to dance “Sevillianas”, met loads of people and ate pescaito frito till I nearly burst.
How to go to Seville
How I did it: We flew to Alicante and then drove from Alicante to Granda and onto Seville. The roads in Spain are wide and quiet. It is worth stopping at the Service Station that also has a Zoo on this route. It was a long drive but the snow topped mountains were beautiful.
Lessons & tips: The El Bulli hotel is awesome!

Adrian ever changing like a butterfly
Looking forward to this one – we are just going for one night but we are staying at the El Bulli Hotel!!!!
Well, no, I haven’t been to that Seville, but when I was born my family lived in Seville, Ohio. That’s probably the closest I’ll ever get to going to Seville…;)
Adrian ever changing like a butterfly
Just read read an excellent article in the Indepedent about a guy who went on a tapas crawl through Seville. Now that sounds like my kind of mini-break.
Some of the places he went to:
- El Rinconcillo
- El Bacalao
- La Trastienda
- Bar Estrella
- Enrique Becerra
It sounds so good that I had to go pour my self a Manzanilla and chomp sound olives and nuts in the sunshine.
