attend more local art events

I love unique art, especially paintings and sculpture. I used to frequently visit the Seattle Art Museum, the Tacoma Art Museum and the Henry Art Gallery.

Then as time went on I became busy with school and work and haven’t made nearly as much time for viewing art. I am ready to make an effort to return to local art events.

I attended the Blue Lapis Light event at the Intel building. Very interesting.

nowuno gallery and plan b gallery. Both were great. so glad i went. no really hard to do. my goal is to attend as much as i can in the next 4 months. (why 4 months? dont know, just picked a number)

On Saturday, I went to an art exhibition in Pasadena—check it out, they are ink and watercolor portraits by one of the LA ecovillagers (I will list the location later)—and then with my date we saw the Basquiat show at MOCA, which is apparently a huge dating hit for twenty-somethings. The show itself looked amazing. I’m definitely going back there to absorb it better on my own.

art events are fuuun.

I really would love to attend more cultural art events. We have so many going on here in the metroplex, I just have to set aside some time and do it. That and convince my boyfriend to come along with me.
