Love camping! I am a cadet, so I go quite often

June 13th-15th
I’m going with my man and his two daughters.
In April, my boyfriend and I are going on a weekend camping trip to Limekiln, a campground just south of Big Sur. It’s just far enough away from home, but not too far that we’re spending all day in the car. Looking forward to sitting under the star-filled sky, feeling the warmth of a campfire and the chilly night air.
Drove twelve hours in two days to go to New Hampshire and not camp. Call it a practice run.
Worth doing!
I’m going again Sept 7-9 2007. Again in Indiana, worth checking out, that state is.

I’m missing this year because I went to Cedar Point instead and now I’m moving the weekend I was suppose to go to the tip of the thumb (Caseville, MI).
Worth doing!
Camping is fun to do both with and without other people. Camping both ways is what really provides the most rewarding camping experience. Find a camping club if you own a motor home or towed camper. If you tent camp find people through local clubs or sporting stores that sponsor campouts.
Worth doing!
During the last year we found a couple of camping clubs to join and that has helped us camp more. It’s more fun to have people there you know to socialize with and since the camping host plans where to go it takes away some of the planning work for us. We also camp on our own and we are averaging about 2 weekends a month of camping. This is great we spend about 100 days a year camping and that makes this goal complete.
