How to see jimmy eat world in concert by Chris

"An opportunity to see my favourite band in my home city"

How I did it: Saw J.E.W live at the Manchester Academy in February 2008, they were awesome, despite losing power halfway through.

It was my first ever concert, had a few drinks at the Phoenix pub, then went up to the venue, an Australian band called Sparkadia were playing first and were supporting Jimmy Eat World on their European tour.

    My dad bought me tickets to this concert, cuz he knew how much I like them. That is a very WEIRD thing to happen if you know my dad, he does NOT do things like that. So this was a nice surprise.
    I brought my boyfriend at the time with me, and he HATED them. He begged me the whole way to the show to not make him go. That he would take me to dinner, buy me an outfit or anything I wanted if I would just not make us go. But too bad for him, I REALLY wanted to go, so we went.
    I was not disappointed. They were great! I am sort of over the JEW stage of my life. But it was sure fun while I was there!

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jimmy Eat World. My fav. band. I would die if I ever got to see them in concert, but they never come to St.Louis.
