Like A Prayer

I’ll be making two mix CDs (or two mix CD sets) in a few weeks. They’re on my goals list and will be one of songs I love released in 2006 and another of songs released anytime that I first heard in 2006.

I’d love to do some exchanges with other people.

I loove swapping mixes. It’s just hard to find a trading community that isn’t dead or about to go on eternal hiatus. My music collection consists mostly of indie pop & indie folk, since that’s the stuff I end up listening to the most. I have other genres too, but in smaller amounts. Getting married recently just added more stuff to my collection—my husband has quirky/obscure indie stuff (rock, punk, & pop). many a time i have taken the time to create a lovely mix cd for friends who live far away. always they promise to make me one and return the love. never a once i have received one in return.

so i give up. in a non-depressing kind of way.

Mostly everything. I’m particulary into indie pop (ironic no?) Lots of indie stuff in general, huge fan of keyboard driven stuff. Anyhow. I’m really into bluegrass and folk (give me a break, it’s what happens when you grow up in the good ol’ blue ridge mountains). I would like to get into more genres of music as well as expand what I already know. Get at me, snail mail is my secret love.
