Photography

Technically I am a photographer! But I have zero confidence. So my photography goal is to get working again and to enjoy it. I have two shoots planned for next week… so I really need to get them organised! I hope they go well – I really really need to update my portfolio. It just doesnt represent my style of working anymore.

I need to make sure my wardrobe decisions and lighting is right for one shoot and I need to meet a model and discuss ideas for another shoot. I’m sometimes shy around new people but hopefuly it will all go well.

I’m a very artsy person (as in I like the arts) and I’ve done a lot of art forms. I started learning pretty young (10 or 11 maybe). My dad used to be a professional and still does some. He taught me all the tricks, like Macro and angles, patterns, and I’ve put them to use. I want to learn more and become better :)

I have been taking images all my life and want to start giving back – love to work with new people teach and learn.

02. Clean the D80 or sell it.
03. Take pictures of your favorite “scenes”.
04. “Crash” the 12W Art Walk.
05. Get some simple business cards.
06. Photograph Run Like Hell.
07. Sell the Deftones Photo.
08. Take Peter’s Class again.
09. Attend a Flickr Meetup.
10. 6-7 pm daily, work on your passion.
11. Woodburn Gallery.
12. Rose Garden Events.
13. Offer free portraits on Craigslist.
14. Print and Frame some photos.
15. Use Brian’s discount for some gear!
16. Create a “brand”.

i would like to begin using all of the cool cameras i have collected over the years and take pictures. it would be fun to spend days just riding around looking for interesting subjects. learning the art of composition, color, developing, framing, selling, etc. i have an eye and now i need to use it! all in good fun.

Im not doing any course or something…bt photography is my hobby and I want to develop my skills… lets do this!

Started reading my book on photography. Very good book, but unfortunately I’ve been so preoccupied haven’t been able to take many photos or finish the rest of it. I really want to focus more on this goal. There are so many ideas I have for good photos – places that I want to try out. Its one of my goals that I am excited about :).
