I’d love to be able to speak another language (maybe pick up French which I new at a basic level 4 years ago) I tried to enrol in French classes last month but they were full. I’m going to leave this goal for a while until I get some of the others finished or underway. Maybe even until next September and try to enrol earlier this time!
What’s ridiculous is I’m living with a French girl this year – but I’m too shy to practice any of my French, her English is so perfect!

Improving Everyday 1 week ago

At work, we have two people who speak fluant Japanese. During work hours when business is slow, they teach me simple, everyday phases. Phases such as “Good Morning”, “I’m Sorry”, and “How are you?” I said these over and over and they add a little to my vocab everyday. I’m still slow and have to think about it before I say them, but I’m improving everyday! :)

I have decided it to be French for a multitude of reasons. I am not going to list them down here.

Just wish me luck. :)

I signed up for a Sign Language class this fall. We’ll see how good it is…

Parlez-vous français? 2 months ago

It is pitiful that I only speak one language. In my opinion, everyone should have a go at being bilingual… or at least learning a bit of general conversation in another language. I think I’d like to learn to speak French as I wasn’t too terrible at it during school… perhaps if I have a little knowledge base to start on then I’ll be more motivated to learn!
