watch the snow fall

I’ve never seen the snow fall. I’ve been to the mountains on a ski trip but it was after a big snowfall. I want to see it live and in person and taste it on my tongue.

I’ve definitely been watching the snow fall… not as much as I’d like to though cuz i’m usually in a hurry to get somewhere. We’ve had two whole snowdays so far! Yes! Now we’re on spring break and i’ll be doing a bunch of sleeping in and homework and job searching.

and I’m hoping for a snow day tomorrow!

I haven’t had a snow day in over 14 years!

I sat in a chair in the snow on my patio in the backyard and watched the snow fall for awhile. It was lovely.

It finally started actually snowing yesterday afternoon and evening, so I would say that we got about 8-10 inches total, which is much less than predicted.

More snow is predicted for today, so perhaps I can get in some quality snow watching this afternoon.

I use to love this when i was small and when i was in China where it actually snows.
But now i live in Australia where it get up to 45 Degrees celcius and only rains in the winter… so i’m really hoping i can it again when i go back this year during new years…YAY
