I have a relative from Scotland that has researched my maternal grandmother’s side of the family and written book after making contact with just about every living extended family member. I know a little about my maternal grandfather’s side but little about my paternal grandparents family history. We believe that my grandmother was part aboriginal but she would never discuss it. When she was dying she told me that there were a couple of koori (aboriginal) girls at the end of her bed coming to take her home. Out of all of my ancestors, she is the one that I am most like, and she is the one that has influenced my development the most. So the point of this entry is to say, part of the work is done for me so I should take the next step.
