believe I forgot to say I finished this goal! I already read Andersen’s Fairy Tales (which was my way of studying fairy tales, lol)!

to read any more Grimm fairy tales! They always end happy, and I’m sick of it.
I’m going to read Han Christian Andersen’s because the author actually write miserable stories… which are infinitely better. (:
I bought the Barnes & Noble’s classic version of the Grimm’s Fairy Tales. I read the first 100 pages, and all of the stories have happy endings so far! I was so surprised. I was actually hoping for sad endings where the evil people would take over… Would’ve been more interesting, lol. Oh well.
I got back into fairy tales the summer before my senior year of college (2002) and am really ready to commit to studying independently. If there were any decent classes around here I’d take them, but as it is I’m going to read through the books I have and look at some online syllabuses for myth/folklore/fairy tale classes.
