Walking on Hands is the Ultimate Goal 7 months ago

I still remember one of my friends doing this almost 10 years ago, and for the last year it has been one of my goals. I´ve been working hard to get there. What is needed to accomplish this is strength and balence. For strength I`ve been increasing my push up capacity. Right now, I`m just 3 short of a hundred consecutive. Upon completion of the 100 push ups, I`ll transition to 1 handed push ups and inverted hand stand push ups. Along with the increase in strength, improved balance will also be developed. Also to help develop balance, I do yoga. Recently I`ve transitioned from shoulder stands to head stands and finnally to hand stands. At first the shoulder stands were unbelievably difficult because of blood rushing to the head, and dissorientation. This fades after a week. The hand stands are developing slowly, but I`m optimistic about making my first steps in the next few weeks, and with the ultimate goal of walking 25 yards on my hands.

Getting there ... slowly :) 17 months ago

I can now hold a hand stand for, mm, about one and a half seconds without a wall. Not terribly impressive, but two months ago I was too afraid to kick up all the way vertical. Yay progress!

Hand Walker!! 22 months ago

I bought a trampoline and I worked on my handstands first and mastered that. Then I started taking baby steps and I was walking on my hands in no time!! Now I can do it off the trampoline! All you do is master it on the trampoline, master handwalking on the trampoline, then master a handstand on the floor and/or grass, then master the walking! It’s really easy once you get used to it! It only took me a month. A week to master each step. Some people may take less or more time though. So don’t be hurt if you take longer than a month! You are you and you might not be able to go as fast as others. The same with cats. If you go too fast, they give up and do something bad. Like toilet training for instance. If you go too fast with the steps, they will give up on trying and pee on the floor. Trust me, I’ve had it happen. So try and try again and you will get it soon! If you don’t want a trampoline for 300 dollars, just try mastering it on the floor. It will take longer, but you will still get it. Also to get less time and more improvement, work out your arms and balancing every single day for about a month then you will be able to do handstands a whole lot better. Like lift weights with your arms then do balance beams for balancing. I don’t have a balance beam but my bed has a bar of wood on the edge and I walk across it every day. Also I have no weights but I use my backpack for school rofl. It’s really heavy so it works. My grandma has weights though so when I’m not home I use hers!!

to pass off this goal, i want to at least do 10 steps. I don’t think i’ve ever gotten more than 4.

Ever since I was kid I have had these random insatiable urges to just jump on my hands and continue walking like that. So lately I have been trying every day and now that I am older I find that it is much easier; I can stand on my hands for about one minute but I can only walk about 15-20 steps at best. However, practice makes perfect and I strongly suggest this to anyone and everyone! It’s fun!
