As I strive to live my life for Christ, I can’t help but respond to the call God gives us to be a part of His body and to do His work while I live my life here on earth. James 1.27 is my root verse for my inspiration. Now it’s just a matter of “doing my best and letting God do the rest,” “letting go and letting God,” and “being still” and making it a point to listen to God and respond to His promptings.
I find that it’s very crucial to be reading the Bible on a regular basis as this helps keep our mind focused on the things of heaven and not things of the world. The less time I spend with God in prayer, Bible or worship, the less prepared I am not only for responding to God’s call to help meet the needs of my “neighbors” but I’m also less prepared for each days routine.
I hope this proves to be encouraging and thought provoking; and I ask for prayer support as I strive to live “aktively in his image”.

I have changed someone’s live when a little kid wanted to go on a ride and she couldn’t wait and wanted to push in to go first and she got into alot of trouble for that so I told her that she can go in front of me!!!

Susan is applying for jobs today.
The reason I chose this entry is because I love people and I would love nothing more than to see others be happy. I like the looks on their faces when they accomplish something that they know is possible but never thought they would be able to do it, for whatever reason.

Specifically: I want to become a counselor for those in crisis. I went through a time not too long ago where I needed that sort of pereson. Someone who I knew was there because they cared—if not about me specifically, then enough about humanity in general. The fact that they were there at all proved that.
That’s something were I want to give back, now. Counseling for those in crisis, those who think they might be suicidal, domestic and sexual violence victims. Yes, it’s a huge responsibility. I think I’ll be able to meet it.
This along with the everyday joys that people bring to each other. If I make a difference in the world as a whole, that’s all well and good. But it’s enough for me to change a single person’s life for the better, even just the tiniest bit.
