Hike the Bruce Trail

I want to hike the Bruce Trail End to End. Right now I am about 1/3 of the way complete and I would like to get to see Lake Huron by the end of the year. I will likely have to do this on my own and stay some nights on the trail but it helps me feel free and not trapped by the other parts of my life.

I love exploring trails and this is a biggie…..my goal is to cover at least 100km I year. This should get me to Tobemoray by 2016 or so.

In 2008, I will hike the full 782 Kilometers of the Bruce Trail. I’ll chip away at this on weekends and in my free time until I’ve completed the trail.
We spend so much time dreaming of escaping our personal locale that we overlook the sublime beauty that hides right there in our back yard.

I actually live on the edge of the Bruce Trail in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I have technically hiked the Bruce Trail already, since I’ve been on several spots on it, but my dream is to hike the entire trail from Niagara to Tobermory.
