How to graduate from grad. school
How I did it: Work. Lots of work. Since I was working full time while going to grad school full time (and sometimes more than full time), I now don't know what to do with myself.
Lessons & tips: Don't quit. Anyone can survive anything (like this) for 2 years.
You might feel a little lost when it's over, and that's normal.
Make sure to be in contact with professors and classmates. Puttig together a roster with contact info of everyone in my cohort would have been a great idea 2 yrs ago, but I only thought of it a few hours ago.
Resources: i-am-bored.com for procrastination attempts.
Borders Cafe for a place to study and steady internet connection.
Support network of at least friends, then family.

there have been a few blips in the radar, but so far so good. I’m so proud of my hubby, and I really think this is THE semester of our last semester as STUDENTS. I’m sooooo excited

Course B: A
Course C: A
Course D: A
Course E: an in progress while I take some remedial lessons, which was nice of them, so when I am done I should get a b.

I pulled all A’s this semester and only have my internship and a single class left. Looks like I’m on mark for Spring 2009. Woot!
hubby is planning to have most of his research done by the end of december, so that he can focus on writing next semester. the goal is to be done by may of 2009 and we are on track for that- still supporting each other in our endeavours, i’m excited and loving my life every day still.

Well, I think I am well on my way. I had a bit of doubt, of course, since I had some uncertainty about a course I got a C- in (apparently you need a C, but the prof took pity on me). So it looks like I’m set for May 2009. Woo Hoo!!!!

So I’ve finished my first year, and my second year starts in a week (because we go through the summer too). That means I am one quarter of the way through.
