start my own online business

The site is running fine, but I realize that in order to bring up to a higher level, I need to take a few more learning curves. so I am studying Drupal, in an attempt to port http://slimmerkoken.be to Drupal.

The biggest problem is that there is no good recipe module available for Drupal, which has the features that slimmerkoken has… so I’ll have to write that myself.

I realize that doing the work I do now is fine, and it pays me enough money to live a decent life. But it also means that I will have to go to that same office every day, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, the rest of my life. I am more creative than that ! So I am starting my own business, with as a final goal to have more time and money to do the things I really like to do.

So the site is up. It’s in dutch… and now I need to get the business model working. almost there :-)

Well i have seemed to have this idea for years but just have not got it going yet. I hope to start a business that sells gadgets online… I admire some of the sites out there… i like thinkgeek.com it seems to be a very functional site that has gadgets, a clear picture of its taget market, an incentive program for repeat customers, and merchandising… Its a A+ site in my mind. I hope to start of small here soon and im thinking more along the of an security products website. Something that can be drop shipped easily.
