Not only did I love the symmetry of cheering someone else who’d accomplished this goal, I loved the spirit of llong’s entry itself: cheering for others’ “Radiant Hope,” indeed.

After that post about 4950 last night… This morning I check in, spread a few cheers to comments left to my posts, check on the number of cheers given… 4947. Seriously. What the … ?

It took me ages to reach 4000 because of people deleting accounts – people I had been cheering a lot over time. This is why I decided not to add the 5000 goal… until now. I have reached over 4900 and feel like defying fate and adding this goal. NOBODY DELETE NOW!

But I counted backwards and the recipient of my 5000th cheer was….

This will be a useful goal to complete it should be done within 6 weeks. Another 400 to go approx.

With two of my long-term subscribees gone now, this goal is a little further off – I was only about 30 cheer away, now I’m about 150. Pooh.

So Facebook owns 43things now? I’ve been trying to cheer goals, but keep getting directed back to Facebook…
