It seems like I never get invited to parties.

I have to get known, get out more, and maybe that will turn things around.

There was a time when I partied pretty often. It was alot of fun, I made lots of chill friends and good memories.

It is the festive period and I have been to a few parties. All good.

Went to my work Christmas party. It took so long to get out of the city at night that I didn’t go to another party I was invited to on Saturday night. I was quite hungover as well, so a quiet dvd with a friend was a far more appealing option. Went to a carol party Sunday night, it was alot different to Friday night but it was fun and with friends I really like.

but I have been invited to the Winter Rodeo at the Majestic Arena with a friend and her 2 children this evening. The karoke party doesn’t start until 9. The rodeo is from 7-10. So I have time to do both.

In Texas my husband’s law office was in the Historic Exchange Building in the Stockyards. We used to go to the rodeo at the colesium on Saturday nights from time to time.

He was also a patron of the Fort Worth Stock show where we had season back stage passes to the private dining/viewing area. Dinner and the rodeo was one of our favorite times together.

I am starting to feel more like myself again. Maybe moving away from Fort Worth has allowed time for my grief to finally heal. It’s time…it has been years since he died.

A costume party that is one of the hottest invitations of the season here in the wilderness! The people at the local pottery shop invite the whose who of the creative art world to their Halloween Bash! I’m dressing as a vampiress like Morticia Adams.
This will be fun!

Saturday night the people where I work are having a birthday party for one of the girls I work with. They are going to the VFW and sing karoke.

Moving here may have not been such a bad idea after all.

but went to my nephew’s birthday party this weekend. He is 2 and is learning to drive already.

His Pappy (grandfather) gave him a motorizedtoy Gator (tractor) a miniature of the tractor he drives. It was amazing to watch this 2 year old learn when to take his foot off of the gas to stop and aim the tractor and step on the gas to go!

We really may only use 10% of our brain power after all.

i fuond its more fun to hang out with a couple of close friends and not worry about gettin busted by cops and i got sick of lying to my parents

I used to be afraid to go to a party alone; now, at least I can go to a party by myself if I know people there besides the host.
