My name is Nora Shanawany. I’m 16 years old and live in San Jose, CA.
I’m training in classes to become and actor and model.
the classes don’t guarantee work (as it’s the law that schools can’t do that) but they do give notices of agents coming to the school to scout. The problem is, it happens maybe once a month. it’s getting aggravating searching around the internet for casting calls in my area, and wondering id they’re legit or not.
before i started taking classes, i would just sign up to random websites that will at the very least show that you’re available for work ( i never paid anything btw ) and i used to always get calls about people asking if i can go in someplace and blah blah blah, but i never could because i didn’t have my parents support. therefore i never learned if they were legit. now i do have my parents support, but i can’t seem to find jobs. any help would be great ! thanks !
