I am going to see my college roommates in two weeks and I would like to lose the belly fat I still have from having a baby.

I did it!!! 13 months ago

Ok, so I did it by changing what I eat really randomly. Your body judges what it’s gonna do (digestion-wise) based on what you ate the day before. It’s gonna be like “she ate this way yesterday, so I’m gonna make this amount of enzymes.” But when you change it up, it’s like “WHOA! This is different” so it speeds up and makes more enzymes—more than you really need. And it cuts down on your waistline.

Oh, and I ate a delicious bowl of cereal every morning. The whole process took about a month-ish.

(yay I figured it out!) 14 months ago

So uh… here I go!

Edit: I only sort of figured it out. I guess you can’t re-open a goal without taking it off of your list of things you’ve done.

I find that to be kinda yucky.

I want to do this again 14 months ago

Why I can’t re-add it to my list of things I want to do simply because I’ve listed it as something I’ve done (even after saying I want to do it again), well, that is beyond me…

I kind of can't believe it. 14 months ago

It must be a thin day. I think a lot of other ladies will understand what I’m talking about here.

I remeasured everywhere. I’ve lost a bit of body mass. Yay!

Well… time to do it again… This is but a small battle in an epic war.

...Okay maybe not epic. I’m not that overweight.

String 14 months ago

I’m wrapping a string around my waist and cutting it to the exact size, then as the weeks go on see how much it goes in. I know two inches isn’t much, but it’s my goal.

I’ve already lost 3/4” from around my navel (not since my last post—that’d be pretty impressive).

The boyfriend had to leave town today for a month due to work, so, I’ll have a lot more time to work out, now.

....I’ll also have a lot more time to stress eat when I get all lonely and depressed. I mean, let’s be honest, here.

I'm starting small. 15 months ago

Firstly, this goal is in lieu of a “lose x lbs by [random date]” because I’m working with weights as well as doing my cardio, so the number on the scale is going to get higher before it gets lower as I burn fat and build muscle.

I took some measurements a couple of weeks ago. That’s what I’m going to go by, and I’m only going to measure when I’m not menstrual/premenstrual, because oh my god the last thing I need right now is to be that depressed unnecessarily when I adjust the tape measure around my waist.

The main goal is, of course, greater than two inches, but I’m going to make this too big a leap for now. Once I see those two inches gone, I’ll be all revved up to go on with another two, or three, or whatever.
