I’ve seen them all except 12 Angry Men and The Dark Knight!

Have been putting off watching Schindler’s list for years, literally.

Now One flew over the cuckoo’s nest is in the top 10, will have to watch that as well.

I decided against this goal. The movies are real old and I shouldn’t waste my time watching them really!

It’s been so hot here (in the mid to upper 90s Fahrenheit), so I’ve been indoors most of the time. I was just wasting time away on the computer, when I thought I would work on some of the goals on my 43things list that I could do at home.

So I decided to watch some of the five movies I have left to watch to get the IMDb Top 10 movies down. So I watched Schindler’s List.

Now I only have One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Pulp Fiction, and Seven Samurai left to watch.

I’m doing the IMDB.com top 100 movies, but it will take me a while to get all of those. So, I’ll definitely finish the top 10 first. There’s quite a few in the top 10 that I really want to see.

So far, I’ve watched five of them. I’ve seen The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, and Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

I just saw Casablanca for the first time yesterday. I’ve always wanted to see it, and now I’m glad I did. It was a wonderful movie. :)

I just saw The Godfather Part II today. I have wanted to watch The Godfather movies for a long time, and I finally got to watch the first one a few years ago. Now I just have the third one to go.

I’ve watched a lot of the movies on the IMDB list, but I have chosen these to watch. Most of these are classics that I’ve always wanted to see but haven’t.

5. The Pianist-watched

7. Gone With The Wind* last one!
8. Magnolia-watched

And if any of these aren’t worth seeing, can you recommend something different/better?

Watched Casablanca, well worth it, though I was surprised.

Nobody EVER said “Play it AGAIN, Sam” The “again” has been added by misquotes…

Shawshank is next up, we’ll see when I have the time.

I modified a former goal- “watch the IMDB.com Top 100 movies.” I realized that 100 movies at at least five dollars per rental would be a little bit too much money. Plus, most of the top 100 movies I’ve already seen and some of the ones I haven’t seem…uninteresting. So, I’m just going to scan the top 250 movies and pick out 10 I’ve always wanted to see or that sound really good.
