Nice city.

Was teaching a Hungarian student English once and had the thought to visit the place and as life goes I eventually did it. What a beautiful city!

I am visiting Budapest early Jan with my boyfriend for a few days – just wondered if there was anything/anywhere people could suggest as only there a few days and want to make the most of the trip.

Budapest was an amazing eastern European country. i highly recommend it. very poor but rich in architectural grand monuments…

There is a fantastic store devoted to Frank Zappa, a psychedelic optical illusion store, the blue Danube with a bridge that links Buda and Pest, and a lot of other cool stuff, too.

i really could’ve done without the dentist appt, although it was cheaper there than the U.S. budapest is a beautiful, metropolitan locale – so many people, it seemed to always be moving, even in the extreme cold weather. definitely an eye opener…

its gorgeous, seeing all the old buildings the river danube and the beer is so cheap xx

planned on 4 nights, ended up staying a month (and you’ll hear similar stories alot).

Budapest is one of the few places left I haven’t been to that I actually want to go to. Probably not next year, but perhaps the year after.
