I’m going to have to wait till at least next year before I can properly get serious about this goal. Though learning a bit about the whole rental/property business won’t hurt.

First off:
1. Sign up online for jobs at the big corps in my new town. Hope for a quick reply.
2. Tell my family off it and discuss what I can do.
3. Contact Azza and tell her my intentions, and see what she thinks of it.
4. My intentions are to spend a day or two in my new town (now NT) look out for jobs, and if there are any going explain my situations and when I can start work.
5. When or IF I get the job, move into Azza’s place whilst working and finding place of my own. Save enough money with some financial help from parents to rent out place, deal with bond, etc.
6. Move into new place! YAY!
And that’s only happening though if Red’s plan for a music shop is viable here. If so, I will stay in my hometown. Build up money over the year for place of my own or uni/TAFE, and then move out! YAY!
Either way it looks like I win!
I love my parents and my sister, but I sure as hell don’t want to live with them forever… that’s just depressing. Fortunately for me, I’ve been given a hand out… just need to take it.
I changed my “Get out of Dallas” goal to “move to New Mexico with my girlfriend”, since that is my sincerest goal and hope at the moment. As such, this goal is sort of made redudant, so… bye bye!
I recently moved from WI to FL and out of a home I shared with my Girlfriend for several years. Currently I am renting the old house from my parents who just bought a new one, but I am sharing my living space with my uncle. My goal over the next 4-8 months is to save up for a place of my own.
