    I've always been fascinated by the idea of this. 21 months ago

    I really want to see a whale swimming or cresting(?) out of the ocean. It seems like it would be surreal and amazing. I hope to go up by canada maybe or alaska…
    it seems really scary but definitely something I want to experience.

    Every year, from December to March, Grey Whales can be sen just off the shores on San Diego in their annual migration. Always a treat to see these gentle giants.

    On My Alaskan Cruise 3 years ago

    We saw a bunch of whales on our Alaskan cruise. The first set we saw I thought were porpoises because at the distance we saw them they looked small and they were jumping like porpoises do. Then we saw a bunch of them closer.

    Of course my first exposure to whales was Sea World in Ohio. Shamu splashed me one time. I always wanted to be able to feed him a fish, but I was never chosen to do that.
