I am so booked through September for projects, and have another studio show the first Saturday in December, making this years already seem like an impossibility. So when am I going to do this, October? Not with this years homemade Christmas present I have planned for everyone…
I’ve held onto the idea of finishing last years NaNo work for a long time, but I simply have to let go…
...for Becky, tyring to convince her to write(from Paul, ctoan and foxforcefive), which of course she should do, somehow missed the mark and made me really want to get back to it. Explain that one, universe!
Spent some time this afternoon at work rough outlining the rest of my NaNo project, which I didn’t do during NaNo. Most of it I’ve had floating around, but it felt really good to get it down into my writeboard. Quite better than it should have felt. I have to say it has quite a bit of promise, and then falls apart. I mean, promise for an anime-styled planetary space opera with giant robots, that is! Good grief it makes me laugh. To think that’s what I’m doing now after previous preoccupation with Serious Work, and, AND, that I’m completely enjoying it…my mind is boggled.
...I have added this goal.
Hopefully it will be enough to keep me putting at it during little bits of the next 11 months. It’s still more than I’ve written in years at this point, but I don’t want it to drop away.
