go on a road trip with my best friend

So my boyfriend (I’d consider him my best friend) and his friend and me all went on a road trip from our respective homes in North Carolina (they live in Charlotte, I live in Asheville, so they got to add 2.5hrs onto their time clock) to Vancouver, Washington, which is like spitting distance outside of Portland, Oregon.

We hit Indianapolis; Chicago (I LOVE CHICAGO!!); Milwaukee; Minneapolis (Mall of America, ftw); the Badlands in North Dakota; discovered Montana is absolutely nothing until the last third of the state; Spokane WA; discovered there is nothing beyond Spokane but Ritzville, Wa… and then nothing again; popped into Oregon and followed the Columbia River to Portland, Oregon; rode over the bridge to Vancouver!

The friend flew out of Portland the next night. Boyfriend has an internship here for the summer, so I’m staying with him, except for a piece in the middle of the summer where I’m flying home to go on a family beach trip and for my mom’s birthday.

But I’ll be flying back for the last part of the summer, and then we’re driving back through the southern route… going to hit up Cali (Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, San Diego, LA), Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix, and a whole lotta desert.

I have wanted to go on a road trip for spring break with either like my best friend or a group of friends since i can remember MTV doing spring break specials every year. lol. ;]

another friend is coming!
kiatlyn myself &now kelsey are leaving friday.
ten in the morning.

but i am so excited.

everything is still going as planned,
we are leaving on the twenty third,
driving to reno,
&staying for about three days.
i am so excited!

i will soon meet this goal.

Maggie & I plan to go on a long road trip when we both turn 18. Not sure if that will happen or not considering she moved to MO and I still live in Maine. But still, I hope it works out <3

My boyfriend (aka my very best friend) drove from youngstown ohio, all the way to Chama, NM to visit my grandparents in the mountains. We saw a lot of country side and stayed in the beautiful mountains for 6 days. My grandparents were excited to meet him, as was I to introduce him. On the way back, we took our time and stopped in Oklahoma City, St.Louis and Chicago. Very cool.
