go to a wedding

so many people that you knew as growing children…now adults and beginning a life of their own surrounded by their friends…

And how fortunate that we were the first people (my Ex and I) at the cash bar getting a drink…and the people right behind us were my son’s fiance’s parents…needless to say, we spent hours swapping stories and meeting each other proper…

Her dad is much like I am…even musical tastes…
And Cassidy (their daughter) fought for the bouquet like a trooper…with another bridesmaid…I expected a wardrobe malfunction or injury…she didn’t win it in the end…but to no avail…

It was a blast…

I even attended my own…I still have mixed feelings about that one…

Today, I go to my sons best friend’s wedding
They’ve known each other for 17 years…
He is marrying the best friend of my sons girlfriend…

And she is a bridesmaid…

I wonder if she’ll fight for the bouquet during the traditional tossing?...:)

Went to Chris’ dad’s wedding. I enjoyed myself and I caught the bouquet! :) It was outside at an old Florida home. They had barbecue. Most of his family was there. It was interesting.

I’ve never been to a wedding before. I was planning on going to my friend Erika’s wedding in Wisconsin this past summer, but the person I was going to stay with (who lived in Chicago) moved, so I couldn’t afford to go out there and pay for the hotel alone.

However, my boyfriend’s dad is getting remarried on the 24th and he is the best man, so obviously, I’m going to that. So I’ll have this one taken care of by the end of the month! :)

Two years ago: it was my cousin’s wedding. There were no flowers! At least some of the food was decent and her dress & veil were gorgeous. However, they didn’t seem very serious when they were saying their vows. hm.

The last of the cousins in the same family getting married will probably be it for them. I can’t imaging who else, unless one of my brothers ties the knot ritualistically.

For my cousin who got married, it’s his fourth one he’s attended, but this time, he was the star!

It was lots of fun!

This week, one of my cousins is getting married. His other 3 siblings tied the knot in the past, but his younger sister is getting hitched next month. I’ve got almost all of them on videotape too. I could made one big movie about all of them.
