I’ve been interested in learning this for a while and have tried researching this but can’t seem 2 find a way into this.

If anyone has any info on where i can learn this it would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to become geisha. It sounds challenging, interesting, and fun.

... but we can sure as hell translate geisha-hood into Western terms. And that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to be a complete American geisha, mind, body, heart and soul.

not sure. But I think I can start coming up with some ideas.

I would like to become a geisha because I have been wanting to try something new in my life and see diferant parts of the world.

That’s what I think being Geisha is- when you’re not Asian and you only have so much access to the Geiko lifestyle. It’s a place you put yourself that no one else need know about.

I own a book called “Acting Techniques for Everyday Life.” And it teaches you how you can take on the character, thusly enhancing your own self (the image you have for yourself along with the image you present,) of- say- movie characters you admire. I sometimes take what I understand of Geisha and try to apply some of the techniques from this book.

I might be able to hold it for an hour, maybe a couple of days, but it helps me present myself as I like and it helps me crack the shell I put up around myself.

And Geisha are quite charming people, so go on with yo’Geisha self! Its fun when you play with it a bit. For example, the book suggests “Props” to help you remember your role and how you want to present yourself in given situations. I sometimes think “Corset.” Which, in my mind, refrences the Geisha Obi sash/belt that gives them their perfect posture and grace. Or, when the weather is good, my sandals sometimes do the trick.

Think of ways to Be Geisha in your own way. A Trip to Kyoto might not be feasible and the nearest Chinatown might not have what you’re seeking- so create it for yourself!

I’ll be like a breeze! I want to be a geisha I dye my hair black, Soft black, I am 25 I cannot be a real geisha, but I can act like one!

So now that i am back on the dating world, When I date guys I’ll try to entretein them be nice, be no issues as a geisha be wanted desired, I’ll have my fans,.... around me…. but no sex until I marry! that is my technique!
