I travel for work a lot. In fact, over the next three weeks, I’m going to be home for a total of 6 days. As many great experiences as this brings me, it’s hard to feel like you’ve got a home.

Soon I will be back in Finland, and now I have intention to stay there a bit longer. I have lived in few places and seen some more and I have learned, that it is good to have real home, with closest friends and family around.
Before I left for Vancouver I had a long conversation with my new VP about life, the universe and everything and I basically asked to get out of my current job and into something less intense. I’m likely going to be doing more security-related work, or spending some more time in Development. Once I finish this trip and Chicago (again) – I should be back in Ottawa for a while.
I’ve traveled a lot. I still travel a lot for my job. All over the world. I’ve seen a lot of amazing things. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people, but I’ve really never found somewhere to call home.
It would be nice to find a small town to call home. Where I could raise a family and get to know a small number of people really well. And rest awhile. And grow vegetables…
