I’ll try to apply for a Washington D.C internship while I am over in the States
How I did it: I worked as a "poll taker" on my local democratic team, calling people and asking them who they supported. Then I went door to door and handed out fliers to Obama supporters. Then I voted.
Lessons & tips: Work as a team. To get started, talk to your schools government teacher or professor. I was lucky. Out teacher Mr. Curtis is the worlds largest democrat and he hooked us up.
Resources: Cell phone, free time, a place you and your team can spend time in calling people. (this is obviously intended for pre-election)

I am a Sri Lankan and I love to work for Mr Barack Obama. I have read so much about him and I am confident that he is a genuine leader. I am a very good secretary so give me a chance and I will be an honest worker because I have all trust in Mr Obama
I have an interdisciplinary skill set in IT, Finance, and Mangement. Together wtih my problem solving and transportation background, I can become an integral asset to the Obama admiinstration.
I have lived, worked, and thrived in Los Angeles, California for 37 years and I have never seen a candidate that was so electrifying, unifying and vibrant. His message, not his race or background, makes this experience so wonderful. I want to know how I can send him a resume. I am an accomplished legal professional, working his way up through the ranks from file clerk to litigation paralegal since 1990. After feeling rather disgusted by Washington and the state of politics, I would love to work for him professionally, perhaps he needs a good paralegal or legal secretary or even administrative person! I am your man, MR. PRESIDENT
I wish I could work for Mr. Obama. I´m a very good secretary and I love children so much. At the moment I still live in Germany but pretty soon I am married to an Afroamerican man from Atlanta, Georgia. We have a 10 year old daughter together and we want to move to the United States.
Becky doing good so far....
Doing what we could last minute before the election was over:
Donate $100 to Barack
Reminded friends and family to vote Obama. Used my lawyer skills and convinced my BIL’s to vote Obama!
My husband phonebanked and called over 100 people today. Doesn’t count for me, but I’m proud of him nonetheless!
and most of all….
went out and gave Barack my vote! Whoo-hoo-hoo!!!

I wish I had phonebanked, given more money…done MORE. I feel horrible. We have an Obama bumper sticker on on Prius to let everyone know where we stand, but due to work and school, squeezing in volunteer time and finding extra money has been tough. I talked to both my brothers-in-law and reminded them to vote. My youngest BIL is voting Obama and is even trying to go downtown. I’m so happy he agrees with us and is trying to help change our country. My other BIL is gay, but somehow thinks McCain/Palin will get the country back on track. So my husband and I spent time with them both over the phone (since they live in IL and we live in CA) and discussed all the reasons why Obama will help our economy (and McCain won’t!). It’s kind of sad, because they both met our Senator, s they know what a wonderful speaker and great person he is. Like I said, I wish I had done more calling, but trying to convince family on how important it is to vote Obama was a good thing too….
I’m all for Obama, He’s our man because he cares for people like us
POOR. We need a leader like Obama!

He’s my senator, and I have every intention of making him President!
