I went to the festival last month and so saw loads of live music, including: Dizzee Rascal, Santogold, Serj Tankian, Editors, The Automatic, The Fratellis, Glasvegas, Manic Street Preachers, Ting Tings, and The Raconteurs, to name but a few. There were more but I can’ think of them right now. Anyway, I loved the music, it gave me a good flavour of what’s out there at the moment and what I might want to pursue.

I saw Kylie at the o2 arena. It was a massive place and she was teeny weeny. It was good fun, she really is a professional performer!

Ok, so I may be in groupie territory here but last night I saw Mark Ronson doing his dj thing and his band thing. He was great again, I was at the front both times, I think I have exhausted that appeal, I need to see some different things because I feel like a stalker.

Oh wow, he was amazing! It was the day after he won the Brit Award for best solo male so they buzz was amazing. Oh he was great, and everyone he played with too. I had such a good night, it was really lovely to see him in a smaller venue. I was so close to him. Aaaaaaagggghhhh reliving it every second of every day.

OK, so I am not sure if he qualifies as a band as such but he is live music and I have tickets to see him in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait, mostly cos I have a mega crush on him!
I went to see the feeling this month, it was my first large scale gig. Given that I’m 23 that’s a bit sad. I really enjoyed it, but I mainly want to go to more small scale stuff.
Drunken debauchery, noodles and great music in a field in Essex. What more can a girl ask for!
is the V2006 festival. I just hope the weather is better than it was this weekend, because it rained and rained and rained. On Friday night we went to a open air Tribute Bands night (The Monkees – needed more practice, The Beach Boys – excellent and Queen – slick but ultimately a bit soulless) and got soaked to the skin. And that’s not an exaggeration – every item of clothing I was wearing got wet to some degree.
Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen this weekend coming!
