I definitely regret taking this job. Little to no hours per week (based on the number of credit cards you sell or if youre a “favorite”), hours aren’t set as when I worked in food (call in- annoying) constant hounding customers and the same customers on “what they need help with..etc etc..” , management sucks (I call probably a hundred times a week to talk about my schedule), pay sucks, and even though once and awhile you receive free stuff… the stress is definitely not worth it. Training was horrible (thrown on the floor and expected to know exactly what to do without barely any help). Victoria’s Secret is a better store to shop at then actually work at.
i am a student from the university of ghana who would be in new york for the summer vacation.i would be very grateful if you grant me the privilege to work with you during this period

I just signed on for a co-manager position in the store in our mall. Just wondering if it is a good place to work or not.
To whom this may concern,
If I have taken one thing away from my previous years at the University of Albany and prior work experience , it is that accomplishments and satisfaction that comes from hard work and success requires dedication and diligence. This is an ideology that I apply to all aspects of my life, and I hope to work for a company that creates value through the hiring of employees with a similar philosophy.
I welcome the challenge and crave the intensity of a fast paced and dynamic environment. My undergraduate and professional experiences have demonstrated my versatility and abilities to take on new challenges. Through my career, I have cultivated the strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills necessary to solving practical problems that would make me an ideal candidate for a job in the retail industry.
In particular, my experiences working as a veterinary assistant and associate account executive have provided me with the tools to thrive in an environment where deadlines and attention to detail are priorities, and handling multiple tasks is the norm. Spending my days focusing on attention to details, as well as processing due diligence for pending policies have taught me the essentials to succeed in this dynamic industry.
Above all, the combination of my academic achievements, work experiences, and tenacious personality will allow me to make a positive contribution. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications with you further.
Sincerely,
Danielle Gross
hey sup am kernes i am just look for a job for me to fix my mummuy home se live ina wood house so i borrow thiscomputer for me to work for hope i get my new gob
I been working in Victoria’s Secret for about a month and a half and it had its ups and downs. One good thing is that you get free stuff once in a while. (ex. Biofit bra, free lotions… discouts and stuff like that) the discounts are not that good though, because at first you only get 20% and after two months you get 30%.
I work in a big VS store with about 400 employees so for the managers its hard to keep up with every single employee. They do push you to get Angels cards, but honselty I havent got not one card in the weeks that I worked. I still have 3 more weeks left.
The people who work there are ok. Some of them are really nice, while other can be really bitchy. But I guess its like that everywhere. I wouldnt recommend this job for a person who is looking for full time work. But if you want to work as a seasonal employee its a great experiance. Keep in mind that you most likely gonna have to close at least 2 times a week and the hours are very weird. Also there is a lot of traffic if you work in a big VS store. Our store gets mainly tourists.
