smash something with a VERY LARGE MALLET

it was worth all the clean up and effort. every bit of it.

today the smashing began. i smashed a tomato, a banana, a grapefruit, and a watermelon. the remains of the fruit spread out over half a basketball court. the pulp flew covering teens all over the place. later some of the teens grabbed “smashie” and flatten a cell phone and several cans of coke. it was great.

i just came back from walmart after purchasing apples, bananas, tomatoes, oranges, a small watermelon, and lots of plastic sheeting. the smashing begins tomorrow.

tomorrow is the real smashing things day but noah, my youngest, and i decided to have a small test run with a few items that we found around the house – hamburger buns and a tin of grits. the buns pop very loudly and the grits blew up and spread all over the place. looks like it will be fun tomorrow when i really start smashing stuff.

i have finished building the VERY LARGE MALLET and will begin smashing stuff after it dries.
