    It’s impossible to work 100+ hours per week and still pound the pavement looking for gifts. Too bad. Doesn’t mean I won’t be hitting the farmers’ markets when they start up again, though.

    Ok, I’ve got Christmas gifts in my shopping cart at amazon.com. But I’m not going to click; I’m going to try to find them locally, at independent merchants. It will cost more that way, and take lots more time, but it’s worth it to keep local independent stores open.
