I have always had an intense desire to understand the reasons that I react and behave the way I do, so I have informally studied a combination of the disciplines dedicated to explaining human behavior. Over the years, I have happened upon a lot of information that has allowed me to understand more about myself, and enabled me to move in a direction better suited to my ideals. The most interesting topics I have studied have been in the area of metaphysics, which do more to explain why we believe so many things that are difficult to prove than anything else I have read.
I have learned to accept rather than reject because I have come to understand that we each develop our sense of truth through experiences that others can not relate to, so my truth is naturally going to be different than yours. I might not agree with your truth, but I honor it as truth just the same.
There is much that I have forgotten that would be valuable to remember at this point in time, so my goal is to revisit and study more metaphysical information.
