I would like to get a laptop/notebook. And Adobe Design Suite. Ah yesssssss.
How I did it: I looked at several different motherboards. I think the motherboard is the heart of building a great computer. I already knew I was getting an Intel processor. I do not like any other type at this time. I have tried many different motherboard companies. Asus has always built a great product. I have an Asus board that is still running 24/7 and is 7 years old. Now for motherboard chipsets. I have tried SIS and reviewed Nvidia. I once again … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had to buy a new computer when the old one just died.I lost everything.Fortunately I had saved some important photographs online, and many files were in my gmail account.I had just begun using Foxmarks, a mozilla firefox add-on which keeps track of all of your bookmarks so you can access them from ANY computer. This was especially handy as I have my whole world in my bookmarks folders. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Knew what I wanted. Knew major chain stores charge too much and builders mark up each component and equal amount, if not more. Settled on middle of the road PC from Costco. 2 yr warranty. Major name brand parts. Very happy. Read how I did it…

Prettyshy Just came back from work, chilling!
I got my first OWN computer (more like a laptop) for my 14th birthday. Its been a great computer, but its just not for me. I love to play video games, and my laptop just can’t handle them. I was thinking of getting a Mac. I know there expensive, but it cheaper than a birthday party :] I’ll have to see if my parents are economically stable by the time my birthday comes.

I found a nice desktop package that’s in the price range that I’m looking for, however, money is a little tight right now and my wife and I decided not to make any major purchases until after our Germany Trip.
The computer has 3GB of RAM, 320 GB harddrive, and the package includes a new monitor, key board, and mouse. I’m not really a gamer by any means so this package looks like it could meet all of my needs.
New programs I’m looking to include whenever I get my computer are OpenOffice and Skype. If anyone has any feed back on these let me know.
my family has the same computer since 1998 so it kind of sucks cant watch videos and all… I want to buy my own this summer or next year a good one!
lob celebrating International Happiness Day!
My husband tried to talk us out of buying a new computer. He went out and spent over $300 repairing the old computer, which crashed again just a month later. After waiting another month… I just decided to buy one. It’s done! And everyone, except my husband, is thrilled! And finally, I can have my laptop back just for me!

I’m ready for a new computer and I think that this is the year for it. I’ve had my computer for about 3 years now and it’s alright, but I’m ready for an upgrade. Yesterday, my wife and I were checking out some computers at bestbuy and I think we have one in mind. It got good reviews and the store offers a finance plan. This my not be the best goal to meet if I also want to get out of debt, but what can I say? I want a new computer.
Hey, Its true that we need to check our pockets to go for a brand new computer. But for Dot Station you can go happily and grab your monitor. Yes, I took a Dot Station at hardly $100. It is manufactured by Intel and suitable and sufficient for all my needs – Email, Messaging and browsing internet.
Several sources including PC Magazine show Vista as slower than XP, omg. I’m currently locked out of all new games. It’s still of a want more than a need. Windows 9 or bust!
