Took way too long to get back to this, but at least I’m back. Reviewed stuff for a couple hours on Saturday.

Now that the wedding is over with, it’s time to come back to this particular project.

My high school has a CCNA 1-2 Class and a CCNA 3-4 Class. I have currently received my CCNA 2 certification. I am only 16! Hah its funny when I applied for a job at Geek Squad they were surprised that a 16 year old had a CCNA 2 certification. I can probably say that it is worth it because it can score you some really good jobs (Better than geek squad obviously, I just don’t have many options because I am young). The only problem for most is that it is expensive (lucky for me my school offers it for free) and that you have to take a recertification test every 3 years.

I’ve had two classes so far, and I must say, I’m not terribly impressed with the instructor. I can only hope it gets better…

Well, class starts next Monday, 7pm. Hopefully it’s worth the $265…

I can finally say I did it

I have a deadline on this for work. I have to finish by the end of this year. Actually I also have to get some cisco voice certifications too by the end of the year. I have been working with Cisco voip for 3 years now, but haven’t had the time or inclination to get certified.

After Network+, I should be ready for the CCNA. I’m told it’s a rather difficult examination. I hope I get enough preparation, because I don’t want to waste my money on re-testing.

I’ve been meaning to do this since I graduated from college over 2 and a half years ago. It’s time.

Using the Sybex CCNA book.

So far I’ve made it through the first chapter and spilt coffee on the book. So in progress ;-)
