Just turned 40 and the day after my birthday was carded for buying beer. HA HA. It felt so good whipping out that ID.
Forty feeling like Twenty.
Only 67 more years to go.

Just turned 40 and the day after my birthday was carded for buying beer. HA HA. It felt so good whipping out that ID.

I was born the year after the Bicentennial. I’ll be 99 for the Tricentennial. Its actually hard to wrp my mind around that one. But I am sure with healthy eating, exercise, good genes for longevity in my family and modern medical technology I have just as good a chance as the next guy. I wonder what the next 70 years will bring?
I just read this online on msn:
“According to national records, Hernandez was born on May 3, 1878, in one of the country’s central provinces, where she gave birth to 13 children. She now has 60 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.”
So if she made it to 128 then 107 is going to be a snap…
The first – that I will live until 2076. It is a huge longshot but it is not impossible. I’ll be 37 this month which means I’d have to live until 107 – but man, do I feel like 24 now!!! Plus my great grandmother lived until 99 so it’s in my genes!
The second – that there will still be a free and Democratic United States of America in the year 2076. Between Bush and the bird flu anything can happen…
Cross your fingers, people…
