but also functional. Anyone want to pull something together? I’m sure a couple of design heads could really get something going on a real project.
Anywho…I’m leaning toward misses and sportswear with a classic, clean but modern edge. If I don’t end up going to school for culinary arts I will probably take a stab at design.

as dumb as it may sound…I want to start a clothing company called “fugerndabut” (figure that one out)...with my lesbian friend, we both love clothing, and it would great to get a successful clothing company off the ground.

To clarify, I don’t like sewing at all. But, I have always had visions for clothing designs that I would like to share with the world. I suppose I will learn to draw first, and then team up with someone who can sew.

I am going to design school.. I am so excited… my sewing looks like shit right now.. but it’s been improving.. and yes it’s hard to find original things in stores.. especiall in LA where every girl has the same mass produced abercrombie shit…
Can’t wait to be a real deal designer.. and for all you going for the same thing.. good luck.. I know what a pain it is to fuck up a sewing project.. but it will be worth it one day when your stuff is on the runway.. xoxoxox Mauhhh… ciao!

I want to design sports wear that is unique and comfortable, yet functional and trendy, yet has some individuality.

Don’t you ever get that feeling when your shopping? About how you really can’t find what you’ve pictured that you want? And totally random designs. That’s what I want to do. Mostly tee shirts. And rain boots. Some coats. Or skirts, but not pants. They’re too boring. I’m in the process of making a tie skirt. Out of neckties. It’s comming along pretty well. But I want to move on, and actually make things that everyone else would love to wear. Weird unique in an amazing kind of way things.

Well..where to start with my “goals”..
when i was younger i wanted to be a hairstylist..so i guess thats always been my Focus and my reputation..still now i’m 15 and i’ve been cutting hair for the past 3 years friends, family, bands that come through town..
I’ve talked to alot of people that are in the hairstyling business i guess you could say and all of them told me to get my degree so i’m not stuck doing one thing. So i thought hmm what do i like to do that i could get a degree in..i’ve never been intrested in science, or math, or politics..nothing like that, just art..what can i do with drawing and painting..and i didn’t want to just be an artist so i thought Fashion..Fashion will bring it all together.
and since then i’ve had amazing ideas of clothes..i’ve been drawing so many outfits now all i need to do is sew them.
YES i know how to sew so i just need to do it and get it over with..
I want to do it..now i just need to find a school…

I’ve always been deeply interested in what we decide to cover our bodies with. I truly enjoy sketching up new clothing designs. Once in a great while I actually move past the drawing phase and put my designs to work. I do believe I have what it takes (an eye for fashion) to be successful at clothing design, it’s just I am currently and Avionics Engineer which pays the bills and sucks up the majority of my time. I feel as though with each passing day my creativity diminishes, kind of like losing my Mojo :(
