work to accelerate the evolution of the English language

...propagate, in the context of this goal? I want to accelerate the evolution of the English language but I don’t necessarily believe that shorter words have to be the way to go. Are you saying that when we speak we should use the quickest, most succinct possible combinatin of words to convey one’s point?
To me, the evolution of our language should be worded towards proper enunciation and actual use of “root words”. A large vocabulary with flowing, illustrative words would be an example of a possible evolution of our langage, slang and shorthand speak could become extinct , but more slang and shorthand speak could be the other route taken. Is there a right or wrong way to accomplish this, or are we working against one another in pursuit of the same goal with different outcomes? I’ll be pondering…but will i be ignored for my “outdated” venacular?
