Visit Eastern Europe

My partner and I just returned from three days in Budapest (Hungary) and four days in Prague (Czech republic). I loved every second of it. Honestly. although I have heard SO much hype about Prague, I enjoyed Budapest more. It felt more real and I thought the people were HILARIOUS.

I will actually celebrate my birthday in Budapest… we are are going to Budapest and Prague for our Easter break. We bought great cheap flights with Vueling so now I am reading about both cities (Rick Steves’ guide) and talking with an American/Hungarian friend about Budapest. Cool!

My husband is from Lithuania, so that will be the first place I go. I’ll finally get to meet my in-laws. Yay! I’m completely enamored by different cultures, architecture, and living history so I can’t wait!

I got a lonely planet guide to the Baltic republics and a mate is planning heading there this year, so it could be a chance to see them.
