Why stop with two-handed Dvorak? 3 years ago

Sometimes the other hand is just busy handling food or hair or something. Or I’m interviewing someone for a story on the phone and I’ve lost my freakin’ ear-bud. It just looked darn useful, is all.

I downloaded a tutor ... it’s the only one I’ve found, free or otherwise, with lessons geared towards right-handed Dvorak. (I’m using it for left-handed Dvorak as well, but since the two layouts aren’t perfect mirrors of each other, it’s not quite a good match.)

What I really want to know is, what fingerings are recommended? I know that the fingers aren’t supposed to always return to the same keys quite as much as with 2-handed Dvorak, but even so, I wish I had a little guidance here.

One day ... 3 years ago

I have had like three attempts at this already! The last was quite serious, but then somehow … I lost it. I converted to Dvorak years ago, but I’d like to learn the RH layout, mainly so I can type whilst I’m on the phone, which I always have trouble with!
