I want to do this becuse I heard it is tons of fun and a great way to get in shape and lose SOME OF MY BABY FAT. I also want too feel more sexy about my body. Its also suppost to give you a great BUTT.

How I did it: A friend was taking classes locally so I went along.I also looked online and found links, classes, and places to buy stuff.Go to a festival or fair and see whats out there!
Lessons & tips: Look at local community classes or dance studios. Search online for local classes.Bellydance is great because anyone can do it regardless of fitness level or size. Don't be intimidated, just try it! Its a great way to start dancing.

my friend, ann, just stopped by to pick up the enormous treadmill that i have no space for in my garage. she said she wants to take a belly dancing class and i should take one with her. this sounds like fun.

The more and more I look into belly dancing class the more I’m realizing there really isn’t a lot offered in my town. I did start chatting with a co-workers sister in law about where she goes for belly dancing and I’ve got some great leads to follow when my pottery class is over.

I have been wanting to take a belly dancing class for over a year but I’ve always made excuses not to go. “I don’t have time.” “I’d rather be doing something else.” “It’s too much money.” “I’m too fat.” “What if I look ridiculous.” “What if I’m the biggest person there.” And so on and so on.
Not anymore. After my pottery class is over in 6 weeks I will be finding a place to belly dance and I will sign up for it. I will not use anymore excuses why I can’t. I love to dance and I hope this will help me love and appreciate my body even more.

I took another class during this Fall semester, and I love it! Doing yoga at the beginning of class gives me a sense of peace and tranquility. And then learning the different styles of belly dancing is hard work, but it’s so much fun!!!!
