Wow, already. I found an online copy and I’m on page 37. So far, so good. It’s intersting to say the least!
I’ll try and read at least 10 pages a day and update every week with how I’m getting on.

How I did it: I was fortunate enough to be able to take two seminars on Ulysses. In the first, a wise, fairly old undergraduate told me a secret to reading the book: "Don't worry about all the allusions; just follow the plot." He was right. I'm convinced the plot of Ulysess is one of the most moving in literature and provides one of the fullest portrayals of the human experience.
Lessons & tips: As above: concentrate on the plot. Oddly enough, the basic plot is quite simple.
Resources: Conversations with people who'd already read the book.

I want to read Ulysses by Joyce because it’s meant to one of the classics. It sounds totally whacked out and hard to read, but I like a challenge.
I’m going to look for a copy and then start reading. I want to start reading in the Christmas holidays.
A great book written by James Joyce. It’s quite complicated,no matter in chinese or in English. I am determined to get a clear idea about it
