Well… I am meeting my friend this morning for a walk~
We have had minimal contact, several phone calls, a few texts, and a couple of emails…all being rather “surfacy”(yes, hopped making up my own words)...
I think today we will “talk things out”...and I also feel that we will move past this and maybe become even better friends
but…I am okay, even if this does not happen. I am finally to a place where I can accept it either way, and realize that my heart is open.
I appreciate everyone’s support it has been very healing…
thank U!!!!
;-D

I am trying to be very patient with a friend of mine who is treating me like crap. This person got angry with me and “holds grudges ~ GRUDGEMASTER 2000”...
it is making me really sad~
I’ve already apologized for the “injustice” and we’ve met a few times, but it’s still weird between us….
I’m really beside myself….ready to just let things happen as they will because it’s very painful to experience my friend this way…
feels like suffering through “teenage” bullshit…but I already have teenagers…I don’t want/need anymore….
just venting….
sucks~

I think I help out my friends sometimes
for selfish reasons.
Part of my makeup I suppose.
I want to be a good friend without any expectations
or return of favor.
The actions I take are the ones that will ultimately
come back to me.
seph is stoked!
I reckon the only means by which I can achieve this is when my mates actually reaffirm to me that I am, indeed, one wicked stud of a friend. I mean really eh, it’s not me that’s gonna define what a good friend is at the end of the day. I can do all the kind and awesome whatnots and still not be considered a great friend (sometimes being a great friend involves not being kind and awesome) and that stinks. But i hope to really be a solid mate for my friends.
Because at the mo, I feel totally stink and a massive crap of a friend. Not that anyone has complained. I just feel like it.

I think about this sometimes…
and I think what makes a great friend is someone who will listen to you and respond in a loving way with the truth~ it does not mean they always agree with you…but at the end…you know they will stand by you to the end~ I so appreciate my great friends…and my “not so great” ones too…
I want to be that friend that you know you can count on until the end…and that friend where you can be your true self…in all your glory and know…that I will still be there…. through thick & thin…stand strong & gently…

My poor friend, that I’d like to be closer to, got hurt in a bike accident yesterday. She’s back home. I’m going to take her flowers and a box of staples (as a joke bc she got staples in her head) to make her laugh. I would love it if someone did that for me if I got hurt! :D please pray for her that she doesn’t miss too much work and makes a speedy recovery

A friend from this summer wants me to be her accountability partner!
I want to take this seriously. I’m her armor-bearer and this is a huge privilege. I hope this relationship is an opportunity for both of us to grow. I want to be a true example to a girl who is slightly younger than me but looking for guidance on issues I’ve been through myself. Hopefully, this will be a great opportunity for me to be a friend.
To succeed I should:
1. Pray for her often!
2. Keep in contact with her online
3. Talk to her on the phone
4. Visit her in person
5. be there when she needs me
6. give her wise, biblical counsel
7. do thoughtful things for her
8. Love her!
listen to people, help people out when necessary, and don’t be afraid to open up about yourself even if you think it’s embarrassing. you’ll be surprised with how much you find out you have in common with others if you will just open up more and they do the same.
