I’ve always wanted to do this and finally this Christmas my husband and I went camping in the snow…for our first anniversary! YAY!!!
It was a blast…very cold, yeah, but so much fun! Can’t wait to do it again!!

lynner um...hello again! I've missed you!
building a snow cave is definitely the way to go…less work than building an igloo and much warmer than a tent.
MeeBEEM sucks again. oh no.
Even though I had all the right gear- I froze! (It was 5-10 degrees, December). Had more fun another time on a glacier in July. More recommended.

I don’t think this is going to happen, unless one of my friends were inclined to do it with me in which case I think that he would say something like, “Have a great time Babe, see you when you get back.” “Do you have your cell phone with you?”
He has just plain nixed the whole idea . . . twice now. I can take a hint!
have the right equiptment. Proper clothing, footware and tent, and Down bags are much warmer no matter what the makers and sellers of other sleeping bags say.
Also your body melts ruts in the snow to your shape, so whatever that sleeping position was, you are sort of stuck with it the rest of the night.

I have camped out in the woods and out in the desert. They are similar activites, but camping in the snow seems to require a whole new set of wits. I would like to try!!!
