go goose or duck hunting

I have gone goose hunting as part of the “early goose season.” There were elaborate decoys, goose calls, a blue heron who visited often, but the canadian geese were all out of realistic firing range. Good for them!

today, i got all the licenses, state and federal, in order.

tomorrow, let’s see what happens.

Apparently, the first step in this process is to get a hunting license. i have to attend a class that will tell me that it isn’t fun to shoot people and i guess there is some paperwork. in ohio, i need the following to “to hunt ducks, geese, or brant.”
