I’m not dropping off the weight as fast as i would like. I think I need to be more careful at dinner and not get tempted by my mothers amazing home cooking. The problem is one bite leads to two, and two to three. Its a vicious cycle. My counter attack i think will be to have green tea handy when dinner is served, so as to fill me up and keep me from taking sneaking mouthfulls.

Hello! would love to weigh 115 pounds. Last time i weighed myself i was 130 but that was a week ago.In april was 142 and I started trying to lose the “freshman 15” i put on while at college. Have been very strict and am having a healthy breakfast(muesli, lowfat plain yogurt) and not much else for the rest of the day. (a tiny piece of smoked fish or grilled chicken or fruit for lunch and a small salad for dinner). Also drinking green tea, water, and doing 45 minutes of cardio and resistance training every morning.
My goal is to look my best for when class starts at the beginning of september. ALso want to get microdermabrasion for my skin, whiten my teeth and get a perfect butt!
good luck to everyone else!

So currently I’m at an internship, and don’t have a scale handy, but I’m still trying to watch what I eat and exercise! Hopefully I can still keep things moving

So I hopped on the scale this morning, and I was a little worried because Sunday I didn’t keep my usual food journal, and then Monday I did but I went like 300 calories over my limit! (I’m only keeping a food journal until all the weight is off! Then… hopefully I can walk away with the tools I need to maintain without a food journal or counting calories) But, I did a massive 40ish minute run again yesterday and was able to resist my boyfriend’s grandmother’s offer at strawberry shortcake! (I have a hard time saying no!)
Getting back to the topic, I got on the scale this morning, and I weighed 144! That is like an exciting number for me! And, it’s only half way through the week. I know some of it’s probably water weight, but I was reading this article that said it’s possible to keep water weight off if you maintain what your doing and don’t go back to your ‘old ways.’ lol I haven’t weighed 144 for quite awhile—since last year perhaps?
Seeing the weight come off is definitely a motivator in itself :). This just makes me more pumped to get to my first mini goal of 140 pounds because I’m actually almost there!
Today I hope to do some yoga and a strength workout. I also have a lot to do to get ready for an internship this week, since I leave in 3 days!

Well, I jumped on the scale this morning, and I had lost 2 lbs. from the last time! I was worried because I didn’t work out yesterday and had a greasy stuffed pepper for dinner because I was at a guest’s house. I also have a cook out today to go to (ohh… holiday weekends lol) and I am really going to have to stand my ground when it comes to food. There’s kind of some fun stuff to do around there (like four wheeling! lol) so maybe I’ll try to distract my mind from food while I tackle the trails. ;)

Right now, I currently weigh 149 (I’m 5’5), my heaviest weight yet! I chose 115 pounds as a goal for several reasons. First, I weighed 115 pounds a few years ago and looked great, and second, I want to stop this slow weight gain that has been haunting me since I’ve been in college. I know this isn’t huge, but I started last week and have lost one pound so far. I hope to lose one pound a week for the next 35 weeks, and although it’s a slow pace, I think it’s a maintainable one for me. So far this week I’ve worked my butt off, and I have just come in from a 42 minute run! (woo-hoo! I didn’t think I could run for that long!)
Sadly enough, the only thing to get noticeably smaller right now is my chest area (boo-hoo), but I figure I gotta lose some of my tummy and thighs some time! I hope to do some yoga today as well, and maybe some crunches or whatever if I watch some tv.
Anyways, since this is a reasonably LONG goal (i am kind of hoping it won’t take 35 weeks, but, if it does, I’m prepared with lots of motivation) I am breaking it up into 3 short term goals of 10 pounds, 10 pounds and 15 pounds respectively. It makes it much easier to swallow! Wish me luck!
