It’s not good for my health, it’s banned from clubs, most people I know don’t smoke. It’s completely pointless.
How to quit smoking forever!!
How I did it: Stay away from triggers. See, you can stop buying smokes and such but then realize most of your friends smoke as well. So more phone calls, less actual visits. And let them know too as to why. Resentment will brew.
Lessons & tips: If you like to patron bars, start going to smoke free ones.
Up your workouts if not start. It helps getting rid of smokers gunk.
Take up a hobby that requires you to use your hands.
Beef Jerky helps.
Resources: Cold Turkey

Not for three days.
Not for two weeks.
Not for seven months, or two years, or ‘when I was pregnant’.
Forever.
Forever-ever.
I dont smoke a lot, but thats no excuse. I want to quit for good, and show myself some love and respect. ‘Social smoking’ just doesnt cut it. Its got to be all or nothing. Ive quit before, and I know I can do it again
itsgottachange is putting my goals down
I have tried to quit 3 times in the past two months and each time I fall off the wagon. I go about 8 days and instead of it getting easier it gets harder..does anyone have any tips? I am bound and determined to just do this. I am tired of feeling crappy all the time.

Definitely worth doing, I haven’t smoked for about a year now!
The smoking ban has definitely helped.
Feel so much better and no smoking wrinkles!
After only one week I feel much better, more mentaly than anything else. GIve up the poison.
ive really cut down on my smoking, but since it started from socialised smoking, you can say i was under the influence. Im now 19 and i smoke between 3-6 cigerettes per day, its about time i have given up as ive only been smoking for around 2-3 years.
Guess i’ll have to try the nicorette patches.
wow, so many things have changed and i haven’t been on here in this yr’s time period. it was one year ago this month that i quit smoking cold turkey, baby! it wasn’t as hard as i had made it seem. yes, a lot of things got better at the same time i quit and i had started making conscious decisions about my life and actually sticking to them, but it was still a matter of will power. each day got easier and easier until it turned into wks and months and now a yr! it can be done and without much thought.
I’ve been cigarette free for almost 3 weeks now. Well, except for that one cigarette last Saturday. I’ve got to avoid alcohol for at least the next few months if I want to do this for real.
I know, tis a bit early to mark this off as done, forever being so far away and all, yeah? But I decided to be confident and avoid eating an entire plate of brussel sprouts, which is what I committed to if I don’t ‘do this’ by tomorrow. Besides, i have passed major tests, been around smokers, drank, had coffee, etc. So feeling confident.
Have been working out, walking more, eating better. And totally noticed that my senses of smell and taste has changed. Those two in themselves make quitting smoking worth it. Also found out that it is true, I wasted allot of time smoking. Since I no longer do the ‘oh, I’ll just have a cigarette before I….” am being much more productive. Fun!
